Join our III Solidarity Hike in Santa Eulalia del Rio (Ibiza, Spain) on May 27th to support unaccompanied minors in Greece!
Enjoy a morning of hiking surrounded by nature, meeting new people and getting to know the experience of volunteers who have been in Greece and are involved in raising funds for this cause.
What will we do?
We will walk 13 km from the Town Hall of Santa Eulalia del Rio to the historical fountain of Atzarò and back. This beautiful spot, located on the North-eastern side of the island, is known for its colorful fields and lookouts, its rich fauna and its stunning.
Why are we doing this?
They are the reason behind this hike: the 3,000 minors who are currently living in the streets and in refugee camps of Greece, and who have lost their families in their home countries or during their journeys towards Europe.
Last year No More Walking financed an innovative program of the Greek NGO METAdrasi who managed to bring five minors to Portugal, where they have been provided with a safe environment to grow up in.
We want to help many more children who are waiting for someone to give them a chance. Help us to help them find their path in life!
When is it happening?
